Yes, I prayed to receive Jesus.
God knows your heart better than anyone. If you truly believe what you just prayed to God, then the Bible says you are now saved. Mazel tov! We are excited with you about the new journey of faith you’ve begun. We’d like to be in touch with you personally to encourage you and to answer any questions that you have. Just take a few moments to fill out this brief contact form and we will get back to you by e-mail or by phone, whichever you prefer. Meanwhile here are a couple of suggestions to get you started on your new walk of faith.
- It’s important to read the Bible every day, even if it’s only for fifteen minutes at a time. Like milk that is necessary for a baby’s growth, the word of God is your spiritual nourishment and it will help you grow. Begin by reading the gospel of John, the fourth book in the New Testament.
- It’s also important to pray. God wants to commune with you often in devotion, thanksgiving and also to hear your specific requests, even the smallest details. Talk to God and know he is listening and even answering. You can also pray by reading the Psalms and making them your own prayers.
- It’s important to be with other believers in Jesus and begin to learn from them. Whether it’s at a local messianic congregation, a church or a Bible study in someone’s home, fellowship with others who love the Lord as you do will be a source of great encouragement. Let us help you find a good place to grow in your faith.
- God expects us to share our belief with others. That can be a little intimidating at first, but God will be with you if you openly confess your faith in Him to others. We can help you, especially as you think about how to share with your family and friends. You should start by telling someone who you know already believes in Jesus. That will help you to figure out how best to express your new faith in Him.
We would like to connect you with someone who can begin to disciple you in the way of living your life for God. Be sure to fill out that contact form so we can help.
